Bilbao PortLab further strengthens its collaboration with the Inter-University Master's Degree in Hydrogen Technologies.

For the second consecutive year, the Bilbao PortLab innovation hub is collaborating with the Inter-University Master's Degree in Hydrogen Technologies. PortLab will offer students various topics for their Master's Theses (MT) related to the Port of Bilbao and the companies that operate in it. Through this collaboration, students will be proposed a topic related to the current context of energy transition based on hydrogen and/or its derivatives, whilst at the same time interested companies will be provided with a roadmap to follow to deliver their decarbonisation objectives.

This fourth edition of the Master's, which began in October, aims to train professionals in different technologies across the entire hydrogen value chain, including production and storage, transport and distribution, as well as its transformation and industrial applications. The course is promoted and coordinated by 5 state universities: the University of Mondragón/Mondragon Unibertsitatea, which leads the Master; the University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, the Universitat Rovira i Virgili and the University of Zaragoza. Six training and research centres are also involved: the Somorrostro Integrated Vocational Training Centre, the Comte de Rius Institute in Tarragona, the Escola del Treball Institute in Barcelona, the Pirámide Integrated Public Vocational Training Centre, the School of Industrial Organisation and the Aragón Hydrogen Foundation. The degree is also supported by Petronor.
