Enagás, Lumiker, the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation and Tecnalia, moving forward together in the OPTHYCS Project on hydrogen safety.
The Aragon Hydrogen Foundation has hosted the General Assembly of the European OPTHYCS project, in which the consortium partners have met to assess the progress made to date and to define the next steps to be taken. During the meeting, held at the offices of the Foundation, a practical demonstration was conducted to illustrate the progress made to date.
The consortium partners, namely Enagás (project coordinator), FEBUS Optics, The European Gas Research Group (GERG), GRTgaz, Lumiker and Tecnalia, were given a guided tour of the Foundation's facilities, where they were able to see first-hand the different projects underway and learn about the hydrogen refuelling station at the Foundation, within the Walqa Technology Park.
The OPTHYCS project, funded by the European Union, aims to develop a new sensor technology to increase the safety level of hydrogen applications.
