The objective of the BH2C is also to accelerate the creation of Spanish and European Hydrogen Valleys and Corridors, and to speed up the collaboration and creation of the infrastructure required to do so, such as the Atlantic interconnection of the 'HiWest' corridor.
Among the projects underway, the Use in Mobility Vertical is moving forward with the construction of the hydrogen plant at the Abanto Technology Park, a synthetic fuels plant is also under construction and other industrial projects are progressing, such as the prototype of a hydrogen furnace at Sarralle. The hydrogen refuelling station and the truck refuelling station will be operational by the end of 2025, as the objective is to start up another hydrogen refuelling station at Bilbao airport by 2026.
