H2SAREA, prize winner for the best Green Generation project at the Retina Eco Awards.

The H2SAREA project, led by Nortegas and with ABC Compressors, Erreka, Fidegas, H2SITE, Orkli, Tecnalia, CNH2 and Ikerlan as project partners, has been awarded the prize for best project in the Green Generation category at the 4th edition of the Retina ECO awards. This category rewards innovative and technology-based projects that reduce emissions through the generation of clean and renewable energies, their distribution and transport or storage, as well as self-consumption and distributed generation.

Organised by PRISA Media in collaboration with Capgemini, the Retina ECO awards spotlight the development of technology-based projects in the field of sustainability and climate change. The jury was composed of prominent figures from the academic, business and scientific sectors, and the awards ceremony was held on 19 September at the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid.

H2SAREA is a project in which advanced technological solutions are being developed for the safe distribution of hydrogen in the natural gas distribution network. For Nortegas, this recognition is further proof of its commitment to innovation and the transition to clean energy.
