The Hydrogen Sector Forum provides an opportunity to share the latest developments in the BH2C, with a particular focus on CAF and Enagás.

The latest meeting of the Energy Cluster Hydrogen Sector Forum was held on 11 December, where more than a hundred people from the Basque hydrogen value chain came together to take stock of the progress made by the sector towards project delivery.

The event featured several presentations, including those by Petronor on the latest developments in the Basque Hydrogen Corridor (BH2C), by CAF, with a specific focus on the FCH2RAIL initiative, by Enagás, presenting the prospects for the European Hydrogen Backbone and H2Med, and by Rystad Energy, with an analysis of the current situation and challenges facing the hydrogen market.

After coffee, pitch presentations were given by MUBIL, and a series of short talks were made to update on collaborative R&D projects such as H2BASQUE, H2MAT+ and ONTZHI, and on the different internationalisation activities that the Energy Cluster will be organising during 2025.

The event ended with a series of +20 B2B meetings, where participants had the opportunity to network with other organisations and explore possible collaboration opportunities.
