Jose Ignacio Zudaire, President of the BH2C, takes part in a report on the commitment to green hydrogen, published in the newspaper supplement ABC Empresas.
With the permission of ABC Empresas, we would like to share this report on the commitment to green hydrogen, to which the President of the Basque Hydrogen Corridor (BH2C), José Ignacio Zudaire, has been a contributor. In the report, Zudaire underlines how the BH2C initiative is already addressing sustainable performance, with a view to maximising both economic and business efficiency.
'The Basque Hydrogen Corridor is a reality with a bright future: more than 70 member organisations and 50 projects underway, a planned investment of more than 1.5 billion euros for the period 2023-2025, a renewable hydrogen production of 20,000 tonnes/year and a reduction in CO2 emissions of 230,000 tonnes/year.
In addition to this, Zudaire stressed the importance of making progress on a European level: ‘It is more essential than ever to propose coordinated action across the entire value chain. A commitment that involves strengthening our industry and technology value chain, at the same time as we put together an energy policy that contributes to the decarbonisation of our environment and guarantees our energy supply’.
