Over 800 players from across the hydrogen value chain register in response to the H2Med call for interest, which runs until 18 December.

Arturo Gonzalo, CEO of Enagás, has revealed that over 800 players from across the hydrogen value chain have registered on the H2Med project website in response to the call for interest launched by the partners of the H2Med project this November to determine their infrastructure needs.

During his speech at the ‘I Energy Observatory’, organised by El Español and Invertia, Gonzalo expressed his conviction on Tuesday that the process will trigger a ‘magnificent response’, and assured those involved that, although at the moment it is non-binding, industries will end up taking the step because they need green hydrogen to decarbonise and because European regulations require it.

In his opinion, the call for interest will make it possible to "identify initial infrastructure needs, which will make it possible to design the infrastructure and to allocate, in an open and transparent way, the access capacity to this future green hydrogen corridor in Europe". The platform will remain open until 18 December.
