The BH2C takes part in the II Ebro Hydrogen Corridor Forum.
The II Ebro Hydrogen Corridor Forum was held in Tarragona on 22 February, with the participation of Mikel Amundarain Leibar, Vice-Minister of Industry of the Basque Government; Mikel Irujo, Minister of Industry and Ecological and Digital Business Transition of the Government of Navarre; Roger Torrent i Ramió, Minister of Business and Labour of the Government of Catalonia; and Mar Vaquero, Second Vice-President of Economy, Labour and Industry of the Government of Aragon. The BH2C was represented at two round tables by Jose Ignacio Zudaire, President of the BH2C, Aitor Blanco from Irizar and Rafael Calvera from Calvera. Mr. Zudaire highlighted the positive situation of the Basque Hydrogen Corridor valley and its consolidation after overcoming the initial stages. "One can have a vision and remain alone, but this is a shared project based on a general vision", said the President of the BH2C. The starting point to obtain a consolidated ecosystem is a general vision within a shared project, as Mr Zudaire said, "without mobilisation projects, these valleys make no sense. Our goal is to provide a value proposal focused on positioning the BH2C to achieve the greatest possible number of partnerships and support for this strategic project". Mr Zudaire added that the future of the BH2C is to meet the "Hard to Abate" challenge, i.e. to completely decarbonise all industrial sectors. |
