The Irizar i6S Efficient FCEV, certified by Applus+ IDIADA.

The Irizar i6S Efficient FCEV hydrogen-powered coach, winner of the ‘Coach of the Year 2024’ award at the Busworld International Fair, has been certified by Applus+ IDIADA, the fully accredited technical service for the homologation of hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles. The company is accredited to support manufacturers in connection with all the regulatory requirements to obtain R134 homologation.

R134 requirements consist of three parts: full type approval for hydrogen-powered vehicles, approval of hydrogen storage systems and approval of specific hydrogen system components. Applus+ IDIADA offers technical support for the comprehensive accreditation of hydrogen vehicles, from conducting specialised tests to end-to-end management of homologation projects.
