
The University of Mondragon, Petronor and Calvera Hydrogen to stage a webinar entitled ‘Hydrogen in Action’ on 25 March.
The University of Mondragon, Petronor and Calvera Hydrogen are organising a webinar entitled ‘Hydrogen in Action: Real Applications in Industry’ on Tuesday 25 March at 16:30. In this webinar, leading experts will explain the opportunities and advances being made in the hydrogen sector, as well as the industrial applications that have begun to emerge. A presentation will also be made on the Inter-University Master's Degree in Lifelong Learning in Hydrogen Technologies (MITH), run by the University of the Basque Country, the University of Mondragon, the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation, Petronor and Somorrostro Vocational Training Centre, amongst other key organisations in the sector.
The webinar itself will feature presentations by José María Canales (Coordinator of the MITH, University of Mondragon), Esperanza Montero (Energy Transition Business Development Manager at Carburos Metálicos), Jeremy Antonio Torregrosa (Director of Operations at the Petronor Synthetic Fuels Production Demo Plant) and David Luesma (Chief Engineering Officer at Calvera Hydrogen).
The MITH will embark on its fifth edition in the academic year 2025-26, providing a comprehensive grounding in the subject matter for professionals and recent graduates interested in learning about the technologies applied at the different stages of the hydrogen value chain. Students will also discover the different applications and markets based on hydrogen. The course offers numerous internships, both face-to-face and online, to consolidate the new knowledge acquired, as well as opportunities for collaboration with leading companies in the sector.
