H2SITE awarded a prize at Expoquimia for its innovative work in the search for solutions to transport hydrogen through ammonia purification and cracking.

A new edition of Expoquimia, the leading trade fair in Spain for the chemical industry, was held from 30 May to 2 June at the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via exhibition centre.

In the course of the event, the H2SITE project was awarded a prize for innovation within the Best-in-Class Programme, which identifies, showcases and recognises the most relevant and outstanding projects currently being taken forward in Spain. The Membrane Reactors initiative, led by the company from Bizkaia, for the on-site and decentralised production of green hydrogen, was one of the four top-level projects in Spain recognised for their efforts as drivers of the key and transformational role being played by the chemical sector.
