H2SITE selected as a finalist in Snam's HyAccelerator programme.
Hyaccelerator, powered by Snaminnova (Snam's Open Innovation programme), is the first corporate accelerator in the world focused exclusively on hydrogen technology startups.
The objective of the accelerator is to tap into the technologies with the greatest potential to accelerate hydrogen development and thus contribute to efforts to decarbonise the economy, in line with national and international climate targets.
The first HyAccelerator Call4Startups was launched in 2022, whilst the current edition, entitled On Our Way to Zero, has six focus areas along the entire hydrogen value chain: production, transportation, storage and carriers, industry end-use, mobility end-use and alternative fuels. The startups will develop a solution in any of the six focus areas with the goal of identifying new use cases together with Snam, for the application of the proposed solution in a real environment.
In a final pitch event scheduled for 23 March, the winning startups will enter the acceleration program for a period of up to 6 months (April-September 2023) to develop a First Industrial Deployment design.
