The new Bureau Veritas Fuels hydrogen laboratory to officially open on October 8 at the EIC.
On Tuesday, October 8, at 11:00h, in the Vicenta Llorente del Moral Auditorium of the Energy Intelligence Center (Barrio Revilla, 6R, 48500, Abanto-Ciervana, Bizkaia), Bureau Veritas Sustainable Fuels Management Company, part of the Bureau Veritas Group, will officially open its state-of-the-art Hydrogen Laboratory, a major step forward in furthering hydrogen technology and research.
The Hydrogen Laboratory, housed in the Energy Intelligence Center (EIC) in Bizkaia, will be Bureau Veritas' first hydrogen and electrolysis technical test centre, equipped to analyse a large number of samples from all over Spain, Portugal and France, and indeed, from anywhere in Europe. With this initiative, Bureau Veritas aims to reinforce its presence in the hydrogen sector, in which it has already played an important role in recent years by supporting the development of new projects.
The agenda for the event, held on National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day, will be as follows:
- Opening ceremony
- Speeches from industry leaders and Bureau Veritas executives
- Guided tours of the new laboratory facilities
More details on the inauguration will be made available in the coming weeks.
