Meeting of the working group on hydrogen of the Working Community of the Pyrenees.

Under the presidency of the Basque Country, the activity of this working group has been resumed and refocused to approach the subject more holistically, covering all aspects of the hydrogen value chain as well as cross-cutting issues such as regulation and training.

Throughout this year and the next, the intention is to create a framework for collaboration to explore possible opportunities for cooperation among the various initiatives being taken forward in the different regions. Another goal will be to improve the knowledge and information the key players have of the regions themselves and their competencies. At the institutional level, work will be done to draw up a statement, protocol and strategy that can be signed and adopted by all the regions of the Working Community of the Pyrenees.

The meeting once again brought together the people from the different regions working in the field of hydrogen. The different strategies, roadmaps, priorities and key projects of the members of the group were briefly discussed, as was the interest in cooperating with other Pyrenean regions.

In the course of the presentation of the Basque Country, mention was made of the Basque Hydrogen Corridor (BH2C).
